Manuel R. Teixeira, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Genetics Department of the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto (IPO Porto), Porto, Portugal, as well as the Director of the IPO Porto Research Center (CI-IPOP) at the same institution. He is also guest Full Professor of Pathology and Genetics at the Biomedical Sciences Institute of the University of Porto, where he got his medical degree (MD). He obtained his PhD (Dr Med) degree in Medicine (Medical Genetics) at the University of Oslo, Norway. Manuel R. Teixeira, MD, PhD, has authored more than 240 publications in international peer-reviewed journals (http://publicationslist.org/manuel.r.teixeira).
